About ElevateIdea

We're building an engineering leadership company.

Most technology firms fall into one of two camps. Consulting firms advise but rarely own execution. Software services firms build, but sell engineering capacity by the hour. ElevateIdea is a third thing — a firm that partners with founders across their whole technology journey and helps them build engineering organizations of their own.

Vision

To become the most trusted engineering leadership partner for founder-led technology companies.

In the AI era, building software is becoming easier every day. Building a great engineering organization is becoming harder. That gap is where we work.

Mission

To help founders build companies that can continuously innovate, deliver, and scale — not just build software.

We provide experienced engineering leadership to founders at every stage, with one aim: that they eventually no longer need us.

What we are

An engineering leadership firm — and deliberately not the alternatives.

Not this
A software services company

We don't sell developers or engineering capacity by the hour.

Not this
A staff-augmentation shop

We don't rent out headcount to fill seats on your team.

Not this
A traditional consultancy

We don't hand over a deck and walk away from execution.

This
Engineering leadership

We provide the judgment and leadership to build your own engineering organization.

Partha Sarthi

A Fractional CTO and engineering leader with more than twenty years across startups, enterprise platforms, and national-scale technology systems. As Head of Technology for Aadhaar (UIDAI), I contributed to one of the world's largest digital identity platforms; earlier roles at IBM and Thoughtworks spanned large-scale engineering, architecture, and platform modernization.

Over the years I've helped organizations navigate complex engineering challenges — scaling platforms, improving execution, stabilizing high-risk initiatives, and aligning teams around a clear technical direction. Prior to founding ElevateIdea, six major turnarounds across government, banking, and retail recovered more than $15M in value — personal track record from my time as an engineering leader, not prior ElevateIdea client work.

I also built my own startup from the ground up — relearning to code from scratch to do it — which is why founder constraints are not abstract to me. Today, through ElevateIdea, I work as the long-term engineering leadership partner to founder-led product companies: making better technology decisions, building the right teams, and creating engineering organizations that can eventually run without me.

I'm especially interested in how AI is reshaping software engineering — not just making coding faster, but changing how companies build, scale, and lead engineering teams. That's the subject of the book I'm writing in public.

What we believe

We don't sell developers, or hours, or code. We sell engineering judgment, leadership, and outcomes.

We build engineering capability, not dependency — the objective is your team, not ours.

Success is measured by engineering organizations built, not projects delivered.

We lead before we execute, and price on outcomes rather than effort.

Every engagement exists to help founders become self-sufficient.

Let's talk about your engineering organization.
